Description
House Sparrow. small box frame
Framed Salvaged Mixed Media Bird
A regular garden visitor, this little fellow is made from a mixture of end of season wallpaper samples, fabric off cuts, buttons, tin foil and reclaimed plastic packaging.
One of Britains most widespread birds, you are more likely to hear them before you see them. Shunning the bird table they prefer to forage on the ground.
This piece makes an excellent little gift with perfect balance of ‘wow factor’ and an unobtrusive size.

Eco credentials
The process of giving materials a second life is called Creative Reuse.
By using second life materials I aim to reduce waste and highlight the value of the things we throw away.
Giving materials a second life has become a passion of mine. I love that unwanted materials can metamorphose into something completely new and go beyond their original purpose.
