June

June, the official start summer and home to the longest day.
It’s June! How did that happen? I can’t believe we are halfway through 2026 already.
This month
June is a big one for me. It’s my birthday month, and Thrift Design has got a lot of exciting stuff happening.
Firstly, I have lots of lovely commissions to work through. It’s my favourite thing.
Secondly, I’m working on a project with some of my creative pals in my hometown of Chorley. Astley Pop-Up Shop & Studio is a creative outpouring of local handmade talent. Running from Saturday 13th June – Sunday 21st Astley Park Coach House will host our curated Pop-Up, selling handcrafted products and a small selection of creative workshops.
Last but not least, I’m very excited to announce that I will be collaborating with Manchester Museum to create a bug range.
If you are interested, have a look at my blog for more information on these topics.
Hurrah
Shop Update coming soon

All my art pieces are made from ‘rubbish’ or as I prefer to call them ‘salvaged materials’. I relish the challenge of using discarded materials to represent animals and birds. I try to capture their personality and movement.
